Josh Bollinger--Trainer

Josh Bollinger, the oldest child of 6 kids, was born and raised in Everett, WA and currently lives in Kirkland.  Growing up with a basketball court in his backyard, he fell in love with the game and played it religiously every day.  He attended Mariner High School and made the varsity team by his sophomore year where he led them in scoring and eventually to the 4A state playoffs in 2002.  Seattle area coaches and the Seattle Times ranked him among the best in his conference, which put him on the same page with the great 2002 prep players such as Brandon Roy (NBA), Aaron Brooks (NBA), and Ryan Appleby (UW), to name a few.  Bollinger, plagued with Osgood Schlatters (bad knees) and ankle injuries, continued his playing career at Everett Community College then finished it at Northwest University (Communications Major).  He is currently the head coach for the boys middle school basketball team at The Bear Creek School, as well as the high school boys’ assistant coach on the varsity team for TBCS—which is/was the #1 ranked 2B basketball team in the state.  Josh is excited to be studying and learning under coaches that know how to win, coaches which include Scott Moe (TBCS Varsity head coach and “Coach of the Year” award winner in the Sea-Tac league the last 4 years) and former NBA player Russ Schoene.  Coach Bollinger plans to apply the winning principles he is learning at TBCS to the students at Eastside Basketball Club.
